Boston Gynecologic Cancer Club

Introduction and Membership

Boston Gynecologic Cancer Club is a community of clinicians, scientists, trialists, and researchers from both academia and industry. While we are based in Boston USA, Boston Gynecologic Cancer Club is also a global online community open to everyone.

Please send us an email and introduce yourself if you're interested in joining. We use google groups to keep our members informed, which works best with a gmail account. Joining with a personal email account rather than a professional one is preferable, that way people don't lose touch when they graduate or change jobs.

Meetings

Boston Gynecologic Cancer Club hosts a monthly meeting that begins with dinner, drinks, and an hour-long scientific program. We have seminars, tutorials and workshops, and the occasional moderated group discussion after a major breakthrough is announced. The scientific program is followed by an hour (or so) for additional discussion and networking.

Meetings (typically) occur on the second Wednesday of every month and begin at 7pm Eastern Time, and food and drinks are served starting at 6:30pm. The meeting location moves around the greater Boston area month-to-month.

Boston Gynecologic Cancer Club was founded by Jess St. Laurent and Elizabeth Stover to accelerate research and improve patient outcomes.

Do you know someone who is doing exceptional work in the field of protein design and/or modeling?  Please nominate them to give a talk at Boston Gynecologic Cancer Club!  We host speakers at any career stage, and self nominations are also accepted.
